Introduction to Beekeeping Hands-on Workshops! *
Starting in January 2026, we will start taking reservations for our March 2026 hands-on Introduction to Beekeeping workshops. These workshops allow you to inspect an active beehive with us, after an informative inside presentation. You can buy bees before or after you attend! We provide the suits and gloves! People ask me all the time about how to start beekeeping. This workshop is highly recommended and has received extremely positive reviews and feedback.

Bee biology, the different roles the bees play in a hive, hive management as a beginner, the equipment needed as a new beekeeper, honey expectations, the cost of beekeeping and much more. Please let me know if you have any further questions after taking this class!
This class is great for those of you just starting your first beekeeping year! I will cover feeding, inspections, honey extraction, storing comb, mite treatments, fall prep and winterization!
This class covers Spring feeding, swarm prevention, mite treatments and splits. Very informative online class for second year beekeepers!
