Workshop Policy

  • All workshops are scheduled for specific dates and cannot be moved or transferred due to limited availability.

  • Due to weather or illness, if we need to reschedule a workshop, we will offer an alternative date. If the new date does not work for your schedule, a full refund will be provided.

Bee Sales Policy

Bee deposits and/or payments in full are non-refundable.

Bees are ordered between October – April. We cannot provide an exact pickup date until we get closer to April. Weather controls everything in beekeeping and weather is unpredictable.


Please note: Each year we have over 200+ different customers. We do not have the time or staff, to contact customers individually. There are no emails sent, phone calls made or texts sent.

We have the following methods of direct and open communication:

• Private Facebook group page called "2026 KC Bee Lady Customers."
• Announcing the bee pickup dates/times on this website. We will update this site by April 1st.

​When the bees are ready, it's very important that you pick them up. The bees cannot be held past their pickup date. Their well-being is our top priority! 

There are no refunds for no-shows at pickup.

After you've picked up your bees, we provide a 48-hour window of time to replace them. It is your responsibility to bring your bees back to Belton, Missouri for the exchange. We do not discourage anyone to inspect their bees before they leave our property.

Honey Sales Policy

  • All honey sales are final.

  • For standard porch pickup honey orders, customers are responsible for texting the day they plan to pick up. We do not reach out to schedule pickups.

  • Porch pickup requires a same-day text and same-day pickup. Orders are not set out automatically.

  • Missed pickups are limited to one additional attempt.

  • After a second missed pickup, the order will be cancelled and refunded minus a $10 processing fee.

  • Delivery is limited and must be within our delivery area. Orders placed outside the delivery area will be cancelled and refunded minus a $10 processing fee.

  • 5-gallon buckets require 1-2 weeks for preparation. You will be notified by text when your order is ready.
