Introduction to Beekeeping Workshop for Two!
Are you curious about beekeeping? Join us for a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, where you’ll learn how to start beekeeping and what it really takes to care for your new bees.
The workshop starts at 10AM and will last approximately 3 hours. We will have a class inside, then we will get suited up and do a hive inspection. We will identify worker bees, drones, the queen (if we’re lucky), capped honey, capped brood, pollen, eggs and larva.
• Class is $85 per person or $150 per couple. A couple is any two people who know each other. If you have a group larger than 2, please reach out for special pricing: 816-739-0726
• Protection is provided to attend this class. No stings on our watch!
• There is a 5-person minimum requirement. If the minimum is not met, class will be cancelled, and a refund will be provided. Please note: Due to size limitations, your registration cannot be moved to another date.
• If the weather is not cooperating, we will move your registration to another date. If that date does not work with your schedule, a refund will be provided.
Minimum Age Limit is 12
Please wear boots or high socks with tennis shoes. We don't want any love bites on your ankles! *
Upon completion of the workshop, you will receive a free online First Year Beekeeping class.
Bees will bee available to order at this workshop, with a pickup date of April/May.
